According to research by Public Opinion Center at the University of Medellín *, Antanas Mockus has a greater intention to vote in the upcoming elections on 30 May. A survey, carried out in 108 municipalities, says the trend.

The survey by the University of Medellín consulted 2,417 people aged 18 years and had two filters in its development: the people who have the card registered and those who intend to go to the polls, were those that showed the candidate your choice.

- the 36.3 percent of the surveys were conducted in the Andean region, 22.5 percent in the Caribbean region, 18.5 percent in Pacific, 8.6 percent in the Orinoco, 8.1 percent in the Amazon and 6.0 percent in the island region.
- The 34.3 percent of the surveys were done in stratum 2, 29.9 percent in stratum 3, 16.0 percent in stratum 1, 7.8 percent in the 4, 3.1 percent at 5, and 2.0 percent in stratum 6.
- The 52.1 percent of the surveys were done to persons of the female gender, 46.1 percent was male gender.
- The 23.6 percent of respondents are over 50 years, 17.7 percent are between 26 and 33 years, 17.6 percent are between 34 and 41 years, 14.4 percent are between 42 and 50 years, 13.3 percent are between 18 and 25 years and 13.4 percent said no what their age.
- Of all the answers given by respondents in relation to the reasons why they intend to vote in the upcoming May elections for President of the Republic, 25.0 percent would vote for ideology, 22.5 percent do so by program, 17.4 percent for professional training, 16.1 percent per game, 12.1 percent by charisma and 6.9 percent do so for other reasons.
- Of all the answers given by respondents in relation to the reason to elect their candidate, found that 21.8 percent of the continuity of democratic security, 18.7 percent prefer for honesty, 17.4 percent is chosen for the transparent management of resources, 13.6 percent of the program and 10.5 percent for the experience.
